Mark,

You'll have to embed an eep in the appropriate break header/footer or detail
line to recalc and refresh any variable objects you place on the page style.
They will not automatically refresh themselves.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Page Style

I am trying to format a report using page style where the fields in the page
style are updated based on a change in the break points on the report. It
is not working the way I expected and I cant figure out what the sequence of
events is to have the variables change.

I would expect that if I have a field or variable change in a break header,
that subsequent lookups based on that field would show the new values, but I
cant tell when the values in the page style section are either refreshed or
recalculated.

If my break point is a break header, and the break causes a new page, how
can I get the page style data to change when the page changes. I have tried
putting the code in the before and after eeps using a lookup and then
property commands to change rotated labels. The labels work properly but I
cant change them in sync with the rest of the report.

Any words of wisdom ?
