I am also finding that I am unable to bring up the BLOB Editor in
a Variable Memo field in a form using double-click or [SHIFT][F2].
For example, I can create a new table that has a NOTE field in it
called "NOTEFIELD". (I then enter a value in NOTEFIELD for one
row.) If I create a form based on that table using a DB Memo field
for the column NOTEFIELD -- and also add a variable memo field on
the form called VMEMO -- when I run the form, I'm able to double-
click on the DB Memo field to bring up the BLOB editor. However,
I'm not able to double-click on the variable VMEMO to bring up the
BLOB editor. ("Disable double-click" is not checked for VMEMO.) I
have done a "set var vmemo note = 'abc'" at the R> prompt before
opening the form so that VMEMO has a value.
The same problem happens if I change the data type of VMEMO to
VARCHAR.
What am I doing wrong?
