Dick,

Better follow up to your post.
For a check book reconciliation form I used 2 variable list views
1 for unreconciled checks and 1 for unreconciled deposits.
This allowed me display a 'checkmark' for reconciled in each list.
A simple mouse click marked a transaction as reconciled and a second mouse
click marked it as un-reconciled in case of mistakes.
Totals were calculated on each keypress.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Form Design

I probably still have the news years hangover, but am trying to construct a
form and I can't figure out how to make it work.

Making a 3 tab form used to balance the check register using the bank
statement.

Each type of entry in the check register has a code, Deposits, Withdrawal,
Checks. (D, W, C)

I want to put a scrolling region on each page, page one that will only show

the lines coded as a deposit 'D'
Page two only shows the 'W' items.
Page three only shows 'C' items.

I thought I could put a where clause in the on tab entry eep, but can't
figure out how to do that.

I currently do the same thing using 3 forms, but it would be nice to put it
all together.

Ideas anyone ?

Thanks
