I don't have voting rights, dang for'ner that I am, having occupied this valuable American job for 24 years, but I do recognize a good thing when I find one. Had a little hiatus between '93 and '08 being away from R:Base use, but glad to be back. I know R:Base etal doesn't cure terminal deceases and fortunately isn't God, but after having been told by many software vendors (vertical and horizontal) that things just couldn't get done, were not needed or were not part of their concern, I'm just wowed by all the things that CAN be done with R:Base and the personal involvement.
I will do a better job in containing my excitement. ;-) Hans -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gunnar Ekblad Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 2009 10:04 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Calculating Distance Hans Sometimes I think we should be modest how ever much R:Fans we are. Let the president Barrack Hussein Obama have more then 23 hours to see if he is doing fine or not. I pray he is doing fine and so does 80% of US and also the rest of the world. Besides Razzak is not allowed to run, he is not borne in US, if I understand correctly. I've been reading the posts and it appears that R:... has a solution for every problem that can be phrased. This could be the R:epublic of the United States of America. The treasury could be R:Treasury, which has a much better ring to it anyway as it is R:Money that is being used there. However it is easier now to use RMagellan and let it do the work. There are a couple examples from past conferences that you could ask RBase about also.
