Paul, have you tried Alt-Tab or Alt-Esc to switch between the two
windows rather than mousing from one to the other. I've tried it with
Ultra-VNC and I think it works because the VNC mouse pointer is not
"really" on your machine, it's a virtual remote pointer. When you
switch to your local window, the mouse pointer is where you left it and
becomes active without disturbing the "remote" mouse pointer. It works
similar to the way the cursor will remain in position when Alt-Tabbing
among local text documents.

My cure is two copies and I always keep the right database (the
current-correct) on my right screen. And run a copy on the left screen.

Ok those that know me --- I will beat you to your next question. I had a
support session going on and on my screens, my left screen was showing and
sharing (VPN) and I had my one mouse over there, I was wanting to use the
mouse on the right screen without them knowing what I was doing. You see they
had control of by left and so did I. I want to still work on my right. No
comment.

At some point, might the main modules (R:Base Explorer, R:>, R:BASE
Editor) and development environments (forms, reports, etc.) be freed
from the main R:BASE window for distribution across two or more displays
in a multi-display environment?
I know that the Help window may be placed anywhere; and even made to
span multiple displays. And individual windows within the R:Base
environment may be stretched beyond the horizontal extents of the home
display and scrolled sideways on that one display. But these can't be
dragged and dropped to other displays. Or - I suspect - I'm missing the
switch.
Your support is way beyond the industry norm already, but wouldn't that
be cool?
