When I closed the preview, I appeared to be out of Report Designer. I ran the report to the screen to an .rtf file and discovered that wouldn't work for me, so I went back in and chose a regular text file and chose to open it. It opened in Notepad. When I closed it, only >R and Database Explorer showed at the bottom of the screen. I tried to disconnect but got an error message :"close report/designer first". Using the Help pages I couldn't find anything that would work. Now I can't close the database, nor could I copy it to safeguard it, as it would not copy an open database. How can I get the report designer to close so I can disconnect the database? Only one cursor show up: SQL_CUR35, which I can not drop or close. Thank you for your help. Joan P.
