Thanks Claudine for your suggestions.
Page settings and font sizes (among other ideas) have been explored, and highest order Region is only 1 ½ inches in height. Im out of ideas on this, so will have to redesign the report to exclude regions altogether and stay with a rather large wrapping column instead. Not desirable, but, a compromise is needed at this time. Could it be that the overall keep together region is too large to fit on the page? In other words, Region 4 will not stay together perhaps 3 out of 10 pages of reports. Ive set all regions to keep together, just Region 4 kept together, then a mixed combo of the rest, without effect. But, thanks for asking! Play with the settings and see what you get. Tried again after your suggestion and this will work satisfactorily I had missed a setting in one of my regions. Region 3 (containing graphic line) is still overflowing to next page on occasion, but other 2 regions staying within Region 4. Im going to work on this more and see if I can get it right thanks again! -Brad -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Claudine Robbins Sent: Sunday, March 08, 2009 9:47 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: RBG76 Report Designer, Keeping it Together Brad, Maybe create a 4th region with Keep Together checked and then put the other 3 inside Claudine _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brad Davidson Sent: Sunday, March 08, 2009 10:39 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List Subject: [RBASE-L] - RBG76 Report Designer, Keeping it Together This has gotta be staring me right in the face, but, I dont see it! Your help greatly appreciated. Ive got 3 regions in my detail band of a report. Region 1 contains 3 columns of data all TEXT data types, no wrapping, stretching, etc Region 2 contains 1 column of data, note datatype, stretch set on, and this can grow from 1 row to 3, depending on data contents. Region 3 contains only 1 graphic line, which shifts relative to Region 2. I want all detail contents above to stay together at page break, and have tried a variety of settings without success. Any ideas? Thanks, Brad Davidson
