Marc The objects may be behind the enhanced tab control. If you used copy and paste to create all the buttons, and were not clicked on the enhanced tab control when you pasted, the object was pasted to the form - not the tab control. Here's a way to find them:
Using the Object List, select one of the objects, then press F11. Change the top and left positions to 1 and hit ok. Your object should now be at the very top of the form and you can do with it what you want from there.
