The Font Button on the Properties Tab does not include a color menu like the other controls. Fred, In order to change the actual text and background color of DB or Variable Date/Time Picker, you will need to specifically define your custom color or select one from the list, using the [Colors] option of the DB or Variable Date/Time Picker control, including the following: .
