Razzak,
I'm not sure of exactly what is happening, or what I did to get the form to
work, but now it works.
Here's the scenario I followed:
1. I created the data table with all of the columns I needed.
2. When I opened the table to look at it, I got a pop-up saying that no data
rows existed and asked if I wanted to insert a null row.
3. I answered yes.
4. I created the data-entry form laid out the way I wanted it.
5. When I tried to enter data via the form, from the very first field I got
the ERROR Form " not found message and I could not save or exit the form.
6. I exited and restated R:Base and opened the affected data table.
7. I deleted the null row from the table and saved the table.
8. I opened the data-entry form, and all of the fields accepted data input
and I was able to save each row.
9. I opened the data table and everything is there in the right place.
Beats me! <G> Since this has happened before, I have a nagging hunch that
when there is a null row as the first row of a data table, that blocks
further data entry until that null row is deleted.
As I said, I don't know exactly what was going on, but I now need to
remember to say "No" whenever R:Base asks if I want to insert a null row in
a new table.
Maybe this inquiry message needs a little "tweaking". Or elimination.

It's not a complex application or form.
Every time I try to enter data via the form, I get the popup ERROR
Form " not found and everything locks up. I cannot enter/add any
data, and getting out of this is a several-step process.
Dick,
The easiest way to narrow it down is to use the "SET TRACE ON" as
"On Before Start" EEP and "SET TRACE OFF" as "On Close" EEP.
Going through these steps will help you identify the exact place
in your form for such behavior.
Hope that helps!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
