Happy Friday to all!
Using R:BASE Turbo V-8 with latest updates, is there any way to cancel or ESCAPE out of a BROWSE command once it's started executing but before it displays data in the browser? Queries against large data sets and/or poorly defined queries can take a very long time before a screen's worth of data can be returned to the browser. In such situations my users typically resort to the inglorious method of killing the R:BASE session. ESCAPE is set to ON but this does not seem to have an effect on BROWSE commands. Users can be such an impatient group! :-) If there isn't currently a way to do this is there any technical reason why it couldn't be done in future releases? Thanks for any assistance provided.
