Jan, you need square brackets around the filename: ['D:\TEMP\DSCN0450.JPG']

So putting that in quotes should do it for you: '['D:\TEMP\DSCN0450.JPG']'

... VALUES (1, '['D:\TEMP\DSCN0450.JPG']')

Regards,

Alastair.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - command line

Group,

I am having trouble inserting an image from the command line.
I thought this would work but it doesn't.

INSERT INTO LineImage VALUES (1,"1.jpg")

What is the proper procedure.

Jan
