Interesting stuff. Maybe we could take a short time out of the
next v9 super advanced training to demo this. I am planning to
attend as soon as I can.
Bob,
You are only an hour plus away from the headquarters of R:BASE
Technologies, Inc., in Murrysville, PA. Stop by and I will give
you a personal demo and/or training of this R:BASE Solution!
See you at the next R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 SAT in Pittsburgh!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.

Bob,
In addition to what John Minyo already explained, think
about the whole process, startup screen, dialogs, Readme
.txt, License.rtf, and the user interaction you can build
when installing an application, like R:Docs, or a full
product like R:BASE 7.6, Turbo V-8, or R:BASE eXtreme 9.0,
not to mention the custom actions and the shortcuts, etc.
That is the RBInstaller!
RBUpdater, on the other hand, lets you maintain the already
installed application or product with on-going updates,
patches and anything you can imagine to keep your product
or application up-to-date with a totally automated,
idiot-proof process. Look at the whole process when you
apply on-going updates. That is the R:Updater!
