I had this issue before and I forgot the answer/cure. When I am in designer
and I add a 'Bit' or 'Speed Button' I see the button get placed a flash and
then bang - I get locked up by 'Access Violation .........'

I went to another db and of course that one worked. No issues I return to
mine and it does it again.

The other db did not have any RBENGINE76.CFG Also as protection I scanned
for any other cfg's. I also rebuilt my cfg just in case.

And yes I reloaded the database (db1 example):

DISCONNECT
SET MESSAGES ON
SET ERROR MESSAGES ON
SET MULTI OFF
CONNECT nhi
SET NULL -0-
OUTPUT nhi.all encrypt ************
UNLOAD ALL
OUTPUT SCREEN
DISCONNECT
RENAME nhi.rb1 nhi_hold.rb1
RENAME nhi.rb2 nhi_hold.rb2
RENAME nhi.rb3 nhi_hold.rb3
RENAME nhi.rb4 nhi_hold.rb4
RETURN

I ran the nhi.all encrypt ********* and NO errors were logged! Rscope
did not find any errors. Autochk full shows NO errors.

RBase 76 ver30515, Windows XP, Not networked app but a local backup for
development. I would also add this is db connected. It happens on two
development computers. My instinct is to suspect sys-forms? I also went
to an older backup and it has been there for awhile. Two weeks at least.

Sincerely,
Paul
