I just did a test update on my databases and did not see the disk problems
error.

Everything went fine for me except I had to rearrange a couple of views. I
had views based on other views. So I had to make sure the first view was
created before the dependant view.

Now I have to wait until the weekend to implement the updates into live
production.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - V8 0701 update

Group,
I have been following the steps to apply the V8 0701 Update and
run into an issue that I haven't been able to resolve and am looking
for some help.
I have performed the following steps.
1. 0515 update on one laptop and 0701 update on another.
2. Performed the unload as detailed in the important note.
3. Performed the rebuild as detailed in the important note.
Somewhere in the middle of the process, I get a message
-ERROR- Disk problems - Please check disk and files. (2036) but
when I press the button provided the process continues with
no further error messages.
When I compare the rebuilt database vs the old database
all the tables, views, forms and reports appear to have
the proper data in them.
I outputed the FEEDBACK to a file to see if I could get any further
clues. Once it hits the error, no additional details are provided
in the file.
I opened the ALL file with a text editor to look around and see if I
could locate the information that proceded the error. When I find
that information I see that immediately following where the error
occurred that the next table to be loaded is one called
SYS_PROCEDURES which I believe is the stored procedures area.
The database size went from 1.395 GB to 1.413 GB. This seems appropriate
for an update that dealt with a major re-indexing.
I have every reason to believe that I am OK but this error message is
bugging me. Did anyone else run into anything like this?

p.s. If anything in this looks like I complaining, rest assured I am
just trying to get to the bottom of this.
