Dear R:base Developers,

I thoroughly enjoy watching the requests and answers and I must say that I have picked up many tips and hints from the community. I have been working on a "small" system now for some 15 years, and not so long ago their was a requirement to "add" just a few security, audit and logging features to my system. Note that I developed these features as a gesture of goodwill and no money changed hands. To the contrary all copyrights were signed over to me (as you would expect).

What I have done now is copy all these security, audit and logging forms and tables out of the big system and created a stand-alone shell. This shell system can easily be used to incorporate existing forms / applications.

Question: Would the R:base community be interested and getting a copy of the forms and tables (filled with sample records) under an "open source" arrangement. That means if someone wants to enhance and share that's fine with me, if they want to keep and use for themselves; that's fine with me too.

At this stage the size (unzipped) is less than 2Mb. Forms include; Main Menu, Users, Roles and Access, Help form, About... form, Log table administration, Audit table administration, and System Parameters maintenance. It's not perfect, but it does work.

Any thoughts?

Let me know if you would like to have a copy; alternatively I can always send it to the Master <g> himself and get his team to do the distribution as a "sample".

Believe me; I had fun developing it.

Frank
