A few suggestions:
01. Make sure to define a "System DSN" using the latest version/update
of Oterro 8.0 (Build: 8.0.21.30820 or higher).
Oterro 8.0 "CheckVer" utility should reveal the exact version and
build of installed version/updates of Oterro 8.0.
\RBTI\Oterro80\CheckVer.exe
02. If your R:BASE Turbo V-8 database (.RX1 - .RX4) includes an owner
password, you will need to include that when CONNecting to the
V-8 database.
03. Does your version of Visio support the DSN-Less Connection?
That would be the ideal situation without defining a System DSN
on each workstation.
