Purchased less than a year ago Rbase 7.6.  Came on CDs.  No alternate version 
was suggested at the time.

I have not used a DVD or CD in years for any RBase product. All apps are 
installed by wire TCPIP or USB. I prefer wireless. I do have several customers 
that want that hard plastic in the case. Just in case? I do as requested but I 
prefer the links that RBTI provide. Besides I believe RBTI thinks green and 
will only provide upon request. JM.02

To the best of my knowledge (TTBOMK) 

Yes you can copy the cd to a usb drive and then install from there. 

I can’t even remember when I installed from a CD I always relay on download 
from RBTI

Is anyone using Rbase on a netbook?  In particular I’m looking at an HP.    If 
yes, do you have to buy a USB external CD drive to load the software or is it 
possible to copy the cd to a flashdrive to load?
