I recall also that the 32-bit version will work with 7.6 during your
transition to 9.0   Something to consider during devolvement.  

Whereas if you upgrade to R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 (64) from 7.6 (32 bit) you
would covert and not be able to go back to 7.6 Hence two db during beta
phase. This is the process I am in and I don't mind but also wanted to
share. I am sure most know this, but I was asked by a few that know I have
9.0 and they were wondering how I was doing both 7.6 and 9.0 (64) at the
same time.

Thanks for clarifying these details, Razzak.

For no reason that I can think of I had assumed that the 64-bit part of the 
name referred to the operating system needed so it's good to be corrected on

that point.
