I am a bit ole school and have in the past sent a EDI packet via modem. The process was handshake, id, password, Header, Detail, Footer, etc.. Now the question(s) if you use FTP I always send a file. I am sure once you establish a connect by FTP what process would be done after ? Just send var lines of information like: ISA*00* *00* *YOUR 2-DIGIT QUALIFIER*YOUR ISA I.D. *14*0722717110100 *030410*1337*U*00400*000000001*0*T*>~ GS*IM*YOUR ISA ID*072271711*20030410*1337*0001*X*004010~ ST*210*0001~ B3*SHIPMENT QUALIFIER*INVOICE #*SHIPMENT ID #*SHIPMENT METHOD OF PAYMENT**INVOICE DATE*NET AMT DUE*RB(Correction ID)***SCAC~ N9*VR (Carrier ID Qualifier)*THD ACCOUNTS PAYABLE #~ K1*CARRIER COMMENTS (Free form text)~ As you can see it been awhile but times have changed - for the better Any thoughts / ideas?
