Chuck The Apple operating system comes with Boot Camp software which lets you run compatible versions of Microsoft Windows on an Intel-based Mac. R:BASE software works exactly the same on a Mac running Windows under Boot Camp as any other Windows computer. I've used it for several years with no problems.
I haven't tried running a compiled R:BASE program using Apple software but I wouldn't expect it to work. To the best of my knowledge you can boot an apple native or boot it with XP. If you boot in native you cant run R:Base if you boot it in XP you can. But again I hope someone more qualified also replies.
