We have converted (over the past few months) 10 applications from 7.5 to 8.0. Up until we started running 8.0 (under runtime) we never had a problem running multiple applications at the same time on a single computer.
Since we have converted to 8.0, we have noticed a problem with 2 of these applications. I'll call these ApplicationA and ApplicationB. If we start either ApplicationA or ApplicationB first, then other applications will not start. If we run ApplicationC through ApplicationJ first, then run any of the other applications, they will start and run concurrently. We have examined, in detail, the startup DAT files and the database settings at the R>Prompt in Rbase 8.0 to try to find any differences between all the databases and cannot find any. Does anyone have an idea as to why only these 2 applications will cause the others not to load ? Thanks in advance.
