Thanks. I changed the settings then cared for one other problem and the unload, load gave me a fresh clean database. (2522) I have tried to change the Tolerance setting to 0. (0 period) or just 0 but it keeps reverting to 0, (0 comma) Anyone have a suggestion? I used the SET Tolerance code as suggested in the Help. Would the format character have to do with my data or some setting? Jim
