----------------------------Over the last few weeks I have noticed that sometimes I close R:Base apparently normally then find that I am unable to re-open it - neither by using my app icon nor double-clicking on the program exe. The only solution that I have found is to re-boot my PC.
I assume that this is due to some update in Vista or interaction with another running program since the failure is quite new. I am not aware of any new program although old ones get updated from time to time as well as the Microsoft system updates.
