I will defer to Bill Downall for doing all the heavy lifting as co-MC at the
conference.
No one does it better, that's a given.
Even though there were fewer attendees this year than in the past few years
(for whatever reasons, economy, etc), it didn't diminish the passion
apparent in Razzak's delivery and presentation of the neXt generation of
RBase, RBase EXtreme.
It is clear it has become a labor of love, when you see the intricate
attention to detail that has been levied in the nooks and crannys of the
product.
Everyone, Developers and Users alike should be as proud of the product as
Razzak and the rest of the RBTI team are and you should RUN to your
checkbook and secure your copy of your particular flavor of RBase EXtreme as
soon as possible.

Subject: [RDEV-L] - 2009 Annual R:BASE Conference
Wednesday, October 21, 2009
To R:BASE Community:
Some of us are still catching up after the two-day marathon
of a full Super Advanced Training (SAT) class that followed
the conference festivities. I don't know about all attendees
of the R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 SAT class, but I certainly enjoyed
sharing the knowledge and explaining the in-depth power of
R:BASE eXtreme 9.0.
Without adding more to what has already been said on this
list, recapped by Ken Shapiro last night, and written on
the conference blog
<http://rbasedevcon.blogspot.com/>http://rbasedevcon.blogspot.com, I
would like to take this opportunity to thank all R:BASE
users and developers who were part of the 2009 Annual
R:BASE Conference.
The 2009 Annual R:BASE Conference was a well-organized,
high standard family reunion, an opportunity to share our
achievements and accomplishments, the passion to demonstrate
our innovations and define our future goals. This event also
enabled us to clearly define our policies.
Conference MCs Mike Byerley and Bill Downall kept the event
running smoothly and on schedule.
My gratitude and congratulations to Mike Byerley for his
well-deserved 2009 R:BASE Developer of the Year Award.
My congratulations to Bill Downall for receiving the first
Lifetime Achievement Award.
Thank you to Jan Johansen and Tom Eldred for being key
in organizing the fund raising activities for our favorite
charity, Project Bundle-Up! Special appreciation goes to all
those who brought items from their hometowns for the live
auction after dinner.
Thanks to Paul and Brock Dewey for organizing the blog site
and being the official photographers for this special event.
I would also like to thank those who have sent us private
e-mails wishing us the best for the success of R:BASE and
R:BASE Technologies, Inc.
As you all know, we measure our success, achievements and
accomplishments through the eyes of our valued customers.
Our achievements and accomplishments are a direct result
of the support by our corporate and government customers,
helping hands, guardian angels, mentors, individual users
and developers. Thank you for your unwavering support of
R:BASE Technologies, Inc.
Most importantly, thank you for your confidence in me and
the resilient members of R:Dream Team, and the support
that each of you has given to guarantee our success.
Remember, the best is yet to come!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
