I thought if you had an Owner password the RB* files are safe and if the
Forms are compressed
the Custom Form Actions and EEPs are safe too??? or am I wrong.

It depends on the LEVEL of Security we are talking about. If it is a
florists shop that is one thing (Not knocking that business!). If it is
HCFA and Charge Cards, I would secure to the highest level. And it can be
done with RBase Installer and Compiler. RBTI has provided the tools and
Mike B. made a huge offer in his last email. But you must read Mike B.'s
email three times, trust me, he has offered huge hints in there. We all
want to secure to our own design, if I tell you mine that lets you know and
the whole world if they read any of these emails (spam, hijack, etc.).

If adding files to the compiler is the issue for security, and V8 works just
fine, Why not do an update for v8 compiler?

If RBTI releases 7.6 and the license process is this or that, it was
written in RBase. Razzak/RBTI has offered the tools, (Like Windows offering
Kernel code compiler- NOT!) it is up to you on HOW you apply them. As for
V-8 verses eXtreme 9.0 and doing a update, it is a different animal -
different language. But I am repeating previous posts. But I did ask myself
the same question to Microsoft, Intuit, and MANY others about new releases
in a new format-I bet you get the same response that I got. Probably why I
am running MS-7! and eXtreme 9.0-64 & Compiler. They work better, so I can
work better and faster.

Sincerely,

Paul D

Thank you Razzak, Mike B, Paul B and anybody I left out. Mike B your
information was top. I am refering to security discussion at a SAT, you get
the SAT and more and these classes. And no I do not get any kickback or
sales commission for my posts. I am only stressing how valuable these SAT's
are.
