Boyd,

Not exactly what I said. There is nothing wrong with V8 or the compiler.
But I don't exactly think that we should ask that every feature that is
announced in a new product should be included in an older product.

Who or what company _would_ do that?

Jan,
So now v8 is has no value to me, I have to sit and wait until v9 conming.
How proudent is that?

Boyd,

Since V9 is a totally different animal I don't believe that it would
be prudent to ask that the extended features of V9 be offered in
V8.

Compared to V9, V8 is an inferior product. It flat out flies.

If adding files to the compiler is the issue for security,
and V8 works just fine,
Why not do an update for v8 compiler?
