Dear Razzak,

Thank you very much for your help. Sorry it took me so long to reply but I
listed the question on my home computer before I went to work and got your
answer only after my return. I wish all of our problems in life had such a
simple fix and such a wonderful result. Thank you for simply unfreezing my
brain. I can now have fun again.

Herman

Herman,

If you need to create and evaluate variable(s) at the row level,
the best approach is to define your procedure as "On Row Entry"
EEP.

Here's how:

While in Form Designer ...

Main Menu | Tables | Add/Remove Tables ...

Main Table | Table Settings ... | Entry/Exit Procedures

Hope that helps, without knowing all other details at the version
of R:BASE you are using.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
