Doug, Thanks for your reply. I am just back on to this, but before I stopped early this morning I also asked RBTI if they could help with this as I was somewhat desperate. When I awoke this morning I found the correct version of the report in my inbox. I have the report going and will have a look at your solution and RBTIs fix to see what I had wrong. Having spent many hours on this without success I just want to say thanks to RBTI for their amazing support, as well as to all those who provide advice on the list.
Thank you. In addition to the region being checked "Keep Together", try checking "Keep break together" for the breakpoint; Ctrl-B to access the breakpoints menu. The intent is to have a listing not straddle two pages, but the Keep Together on Region1 didn't work until I added a breakpoint on the last name and marked the breakpoint Keep Break Together. The listings now remain on one page and they are sorted by last name, which is what I wanted Doug John Docherty wrote: I have a region in a break header which has Keep Together checked and also a new page when less than 10 set in the report breaks, however the report prints with the region split across pages. The region size is essentially fixed with no variables being stretched. (I have tried various settings for the number of lines in the report breaks without success.) I was just wondering what I may be doing wrong here any suggestions would be most welcome. Thank you.
