If I add a component id to that field, then it documents as having 2 compnent IDs.
I did unload the form and load it into another database. The documentation still is funny. Everything works. Go figure! It would seem that you might have a little corruption on your form. One thing that has worked for me in the past is to download the form and re-load it. Also, instead of deleting the Component ID on the second component, have you tried to re-name it to something like vci_dummy? BTW, I always name Component IDs vci_something, this way I now that anything that starts with "vci" is a variable component ID.
