If I add a component id to that field, then it documents as having 2 compnent
IDs.

I did unload the form and load it into another database.
The documentation still is funny.

Everything works.  Go figure!

Dennis,

Are you saying that the Component ID for the tab moved to a different
component and now, when you tried deleting that component it moved to yet a
different component?
It would seem that you might have a little corruption on your form. One
thing that has worked for me in the past is to download the form and re-load
it.
Also, instead of deleting the Component ID on the second component, have you
tried to re-name it to something like vci_dummy?
BTW, I always name Component IDs vci_something, this way I now that anything
that starts with "vci" is a variable component ID.

Note the field definition
The componentid for a tab has been assigned to a control
If seems the forms designer is confused.

============================================================================
=
 DB Edit, Table : TransXB, Field : Pro_Number, Component ID: TabPartsDetails

============================================================================
=

 On Tab Change Custom EEP:

  --Entering parts tab
  PROPERTY RBASE_FORM_ACTION OrderValidations ' '
  RETURN

I tried deleting a different control which had this problem and the problem
moved to this control

This is a very complex form and I would like to repair it.

Any ideas?
