Maybe at one time the RB*.DLL files were installed in the RBG8 folder instead of the SYTEM32 folder?

Only if you selected the Server Update instead of Typical Update.

  Whatever the case, getting rid of the old file fixed the problem.

Problem posted yesterday:

Only one user has a problem after upgrading. When he tries to connect to a database he gets the "I/O Problem. Check for full disk." Error message. After clearing that message he gets the "Database files are out-of-sync" message.
