Karen, Jay, Brock, Dan R & .. -

I wish I had better news. You still install as 'Admin' but if you want the
'Standard/Default' UAC setting, I have not found any way around it. I would
be glad to share (with anyone) a bmp of the Task Scheduler screen and it
also showing other companies answers around this UAC issue. I cannot stress
that you can lower the UAC and avoid this process. However some IT people -
like the ones that you are dealing with Karen, .., will insist on the
default setting.

We all are from a very long list of people with the same UAC option. The
good news: is an easy fix to apply, takes about 2 minutes. And it is not
only 7.6! Other vendor/companies are involved also. They just apply it
and do not let you know-'tricky', but it works nicely.

Again like a lower UAC setting 'Off' and no problem.

Sincerely,

Paul Dewey

*I doubt you want to recode the ACL let alone even know that one part of it
is embedded into the kernal of MS-7! ;( bad idea x3

**Till I rec'v something from MS-Tech, I only have this, to go on. I will
watch for a better solution.

Oh gosh, Paul... My head is spinning! I have to go
back to that client next week to try the 7.6 activation again,
and I still have no clear idea of what I'm supposed to do...
Now you have this extra suggestion to add onto all the other
ones I've heard here that are supposed to work, or not work ....
