Is the database over the network on a server?? If so, check to make sure the power saving features are turned off on the network cards. To check, go into the device manager-network adapters. right click on the adapter and select "properties" One of the tabs will be power management. Make sure they are unchecked. You will need to be logged in as admin. Dan

Also doing the same thing on the problematic machine may or may not cause the error. What are some things to look for? The error is usually "Access Violation" or "I/O error check for a full disk". There is plenty of space of the harddrive though. I sometimes find $$$ files that should had been deleted earlier but weren't. Deleteing these files helps for a couple of days and then the errors come back.
