On some screens, the grey is bled out where you almost can't see it. I haven't used my new laptop with Win7 much, but it seems the greys are awfully light compared to my old one.

It is a nice feature (the gray part), and if you glace and see what
column(s) were sorted/selected.

And yes, I could tweak settings but contrary to belief - I DON'T and I don't have the time! So I agree with the " IMO would be a waste of valuable time"

Paul D

This has nothing to do with RBase.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Monitor DVI vs VGA Dual Screen

For a reason that is hard to explain, I had to start another session of
9.0
and it was on another monitor(VGA) verses my main monitor(DVI) and I like
the look on my VGA input better than DVI! I can see gray images in the
columns in Table designer which do not appear in the DVI. Sure it is some setting or ??? but both are set to ATI latest driver etc.. not tweaked or
.....! standard settings. My laptop shows the gray also, which is very
nice.

Note* Same system, same computer, same same... just a different screen
the
only difference.

Anybody else experience this? Can it be corrected?

Sincerely,
Paul D.

Just thought it was odd, that DVI which is supposed to be better is
different, maybe the bug is in the DVI monitor watching me ;). Oh ya same gray scale, darkness, color settings etc. both screens were color corrected
and also tried factory settings.
