Razzak,

Other support sites have these kind of discussions too. It is
part of the process.

I think it is a plus when there is such a discussion and piece
by piece, R:BASE comes out shining.

We have been chided lately for taking discussions off-line.

You can't have it both ways. Our discussion was professional
and arrived at the correct conclusion.

I learned a couple of new things in the process and I'm sure
others have too.

Dennis,

I didn't ask you to explain nor prove that the discussion and
conclusion was professional or not, who learned and who
didn't, and how many folks first thought it was related to
R:BASE or not. We have never compared ourselves to other
support sites. We simply mind our own business and stick to
what we do best.

We have watched and discussed many non-R:BASE related topics.
However, in such case, one should start the subject
as [Off Topic] and then ask for help, suggestions, or opinions.
In that case, the audience on this R:BASE list has the option
to view or participate in further discussion or not. We should
not have to answer privately to those who are simply confused
about the purpose of this R:BASE list.

You CANNOT start a subject on this R:BASE list to first draw
attention, and then explain later that actually it is not an
R:BASE issue. If that was the case, why didn't someone change
the subject to acknowledge the off topic subject? Over the
years we have made ourselves very clear, and we will simply
not tolerate this for obvious reasons.

Having said that, if you didn't know already, there are other
forums out there where you can discuss anything you want
including "other" products, etc.

As explained in my earlier reply to your curiosity, my reason
to provide a sample application was timely and obvious, i.e.,
to help those who need to understand the use of R:BASE Web
Browser Control in forms. As always, when I see a need, I have
personally provided many sample applications to help those who
can take advantage of all built-in features and tools in R:BASE.
