I as well learned a lot from the discussion. I use the web control but not how Dan is using it so I really didn't have a lot to offer the discussion.
However one comment about being able to configure which browser the web control uses might be of interest. I would suggest it as an enhancement to V9 but I would prefer to have Razzak mull it over and determine if it is a good idea or not. Does anyone now of a good website for returning GPS co-ordinates for addresses? Karen, I missed that detail, for sure. I too haven’t used the web control until now. It was good to see how well it works, pretty slick. And, Razzak’s demo will be a big help too. Knowing the control uses IE does help when debugging stuff like this. Agree 100%, Dennis! I learned alot, not having done much work with web browser controls so far. The original poster mentioned in his very first email that he knew it was an IE problem and that he was hoping that RBase had a workaround to help with the situation. Not everyone interpretted that email in the same way... Karen Razzak, Other support sites have these kind of discussions too. It is part of the process. I think it is a plus when there is such a discussion and piece by piece, R:BASE comes out shining. We have been chided lately for taking discussions off-line. You can't have it both ways. Our discussion was professional and arrived at the correct conclusion. I learned a couple of new things in the process and I'm sure others have too. Very Best R:egards, Dennis.
