formavailable?

Tony,

You have to be on your toes! Note the version:

"Start R:BASE 7.6 (Build: 7.6.8.30305) ..."

Razzak,

I have tried them both, but neither of them has any effect.
In the same form I make use of the refreshlist of the file list box and
there it works fine.
I like to emphasize that this feature is not mentioned in the properties of
directory tree list.

I don't know if it matters but the list in shown in a TAB control

Kind Regards,

I have created a new directory, but I am not able to open it,
because it is not shown. So a refresh is needed. Is there a
solution for it?

Tony,

Here's how:

01. Start R:BASE 7.6 (Build: 7.6.8.30305) or R:BASE Turbo V-8
    (Build: 8.0.22.30305) or R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 (32 or 64)
    (Build: 9.0.1.10315)

02. CONNect the database and open the form in Form Designer

03. Assign a unique Component ID to Directory Control

04. Place a Speed Button or Enhanced Speed Button, and use
the following code as "Custom EEP" to refresh the list:

    -- Refresh Directory Tree List
    PROPERTY <DirTreeCompID> REFRESHLIST 'TRUE'
    RETURN

05. Save the form and close form designer.

That's all there is to it!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.

P.S. If you need a sample application to demonstrate the use
of such PROPERTY command in Directory Tree control, send me
a private e-mail.
