Even when you could use that syntax, I never used it because it doesn't give you an opportunity to see that the date value is properly formatted for use. I do not believe the syntax is supported in the current versions as evidence by its' failure.

I am a new user of version 7.6.

I am building an application and I am trying to use the "@" symbol in
the application.  It works fine when I create an action using "Edit
Using a Form" but it does not work when I try to create an action using
the "Browse and Edit" action.

This is the action I am trying to complete:

BROWSE column_names FROM table_name WHERE column_name >= @'Enter Start
Date' AND column_name <= @'Enter End Date' ORDER BY column_name


I would appreciate any assistance that any of you might have.
