We are testing connections today between UPS WorldShip 12 database and our main RBase 7.6 database.
It appears to me that I must have staticdb set to OFF for Worldship to connect. Is this correct? If it is correct, I believe I should set FASTLOCK to OFF as well. QUALCOLS is currently set to 2. Does someone have recommended settings while connecting with WorldShip? Any major performance issues? I have 104 users in this database, all (but 5) using compiled applications. By setting staticdb off on a backup database we had no problems connecting to RBase from Worldship. My goal is to collect tracking numbers from UPS and update invoices. My thought is to collect them into a table at closing the day and use a trigger to update my invoice table. This is pretty new stuff for me, even though I had made it work in testing.
