Jim... Its gone from crazy to worse. I can print perfectly on other printers in our network, but the HP 4200 laser printer apparently does not like me. All other users can print on it, and it is based off MY computer. I can print anything EXCEPT from Rbase with no problem. Rbase prints the lines from an order or invoice, but will not print any text, be it from the database for static text fields. I tried a new driver from HP with no success. Think I will just let it go till monday... maybe it will like me better, or I will come up with a brilliant solution (like maybe a NEW printer!)

Just purchased Extreme 9... that will give me something to play with for a while.

Thanks,
Dick

Did you try to print to a pdf file first, then put to printer?

We run 4 computers, running XP, & R:base 7.5 on each, all pulling
data off of a central server. 1 of the computers has started
printing R:base reports with a little square characters where each
character of DB data should be. Some of the labels on the report
print properly, others do not. Lines and shading print as
expected. Reports print properly to the screen, but not when
printed from screen to printer, or by command line. I have 3
copies of Rbase running on this machine, 2 running an application,
1 going straight to the R:prompt. Printing results are the same
for all copies. This machine prints perfectly from the internet,
word, etc. All others machines, (all use a common HP laser
printer) print R:base reports just fine. Obviously this is not an
R:base issue, but something within my computer... Maybe it just
hates me. Tried re-boot, no results. Anyone have any ideas? Dick
