i believe that SysWOW64 folder is only in 64 bit OS

I did try a re-install but this time I will try a complete un-install first.

Jan,

Have you tried reinstalling Oterro?

Which method is being used to create a new DSN? Are you using
the Control Panel, or are you creating the DSN through R:BASE?
