AHA!  That's actually a very good clue.   Field eeps will not work
if there is only ONE field in a scrolling region, doesn't matter whether
it's a combo box, a db edit, etc.   Unless this has changed in version
9, which apparently you're using since you have a combo box in a
region?

The reason:  Even if you have a bunch of fields in a scrolling region,
if you were inside of a field and then either [F8] or click into the
the same field on the next row, RBase does not think you have left
the field.  Because you are still in the same field, just in another row.
I personally wish it didn't work that way.  So in regions I stay away from
field eeps and instead try to incorporate row level eeps.  Have you tried
the eep "on row exit"?
