Just glancing thru some things, decided to see what the heck starts with a Z in the command index. I see that it has ZIP in there, which I've forgotten about since the days of doing mostly DOS stuff. However, in the description of using ZIP ROLLOUT, it says: "Under Windows this will also force R:BASE to release all "accumlated" memory that may not otherwise be released. " I know that more than a few people have problems where a fresh restart of RBase seems to fix things, and we've always guessed that it's some kind of memory thingy (or of course a bad program code thingy). So can a "zip rollout" help? Do you have to specify a program to run, like maybe a dummy .exe program? Karen
