I hate it when I know what I want but don't know how to accomplish it.
Tables 1 & 2  have multiple columns but  have 2 in common.

I want to make a new table, preferably a temp, that includes all the rows from both tables using only those 2 columns.

Tried a view, but that didn't seem to do it.

So many other options I have never used... looking for a simple suggestion.
