Marc, Is it possible you don't have the whole story?
Seems to me there was a windows update a couple of days ago that if you had automatic updates turned on, it would install the update and restart the computer. Doesn't answer why they are getting this message though. What operating system is the customer using? -----Original Message----- From: "MDRD" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] (RBASE-L Mailing List) Date: Thu, 17 Jun 2010 16:57:57 -0500 Subject: [RBASE-L] - Enter a user identifier? Hi Must be sun spots causing problems not a user called, they left RBase in my App at lunch when they came back they were kicked out of RBase, No big deal I think I use Timeout 120 to make sure they do not leave RBase running at night and have an automatic backup screw the live DB files up Now then they tried to restart my App instead of getting my normal start up routine they get a message saying Enter a user identifier? When they Right Click on out Shortcut Scan soft tries to open or something, but once they check the properties everything looks OK. This is 7.6 Compiled App that has been working for weeks with no problem, I am just not sure where to look? Any suggestions? Thanks Marc
