Not sure about the double-post, but I'll add that during a return trip from Asheville, NC, to Memphis this past Monday, the temp' didn't fall below 80°F until my wife and I hit almost 5,000ft or so in elevation. Asheville itself was "respectably" hot, and that's from a Memphis-boy!
