Joan, One of the things that a new install is going to do is place a new (default) .CFG file in place. If you have changed any of the default settings, you may need to revisit them in the new version.

I unloaded the table (all) and found that all the fields were populated with blanks. Do you have any idea why the Gateway wizard did not work? I was using an .xls file from Excel2000, which I also saved as a .txt file. I deleted all rows that were in the table and I just resaved the .xls as a .csv, and that worked. I see there are choices about how to update an existing record. That looks quite nice. I don't quite understand them, but will try to figure it out. That worked so much better, and I can read the imported data now. Thank you, and I hope you can get the other file types to work right shortly, as it will save a lot of time. I shall make up a command file for the future to get through this faster. Joan On 7/1/2010 5:23 PM, A.
