Yep!   But the average user would need to tie up one hand. I only use one
hand and it gets frustrating when you click and get 90% of the way there and
goof up.  My problem - but I was wondering if anybody had any easy ways to
make it work or ideas or .....

If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to move several 
objects at one time. [Shift][Click] each of them, then drag them where 
you want them to go.
