Hello all, Been off the list for a while, but now have a problem that surfaced in an old program app in 4.5++. Our IT dept changed out computers and now every time the users go to add a row this message occurs: "More than 10000 characters or 400 items per input line" Then it bombs out to the R> prompt. It DOES save the row appropriately. I first thought it might be that they deleted the config.sys but I created one and gave the PC administrator rights. No help. Anywhere I should be looking? I haven't change a thing in this program for YEARS, so it is not an R:base problem but may be a configuration issue I am forgetting....
Of course the BEST solution is to rewrite this in v9, but am working slowly on this. But need to keep the operation running until I finish...
