How can I prevent this ??

Luc,

Here's how:

01. Make sure that R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 has been installed when an
Administrator was logged onto the computer. Then make sure
the latest update is applied. http://www.rupdates.com

02. If you are using the Windows 7 x64 operating system, then check
the registry to verify the following entry exists:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\R:BASE Technologies\RBG90

If you are using the x32 operating system, check the registry to
    verify the following entry exists:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\R:BASE Technologies\RBG90

03. Then, assign the required Read, Write, Full Control permissions
to all users so that the values can be identified by R:BASE. You
would do so by right clicking on the RBG90 entry and selecting
    "Permissions" from the menu.

04. Finally, for the Windows Vista or later operating systems where
User Access Control will be enabled for notifications at any
degree, the License Key entry and product activation must be
performed while the end user is logged on, not the Administrator.

At this point, the License Key will be entered and the activation
    process completed.

That's all there is to it!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.

P.S. The above instructions are also made available in the R:BASE
eXtreme 9.0 Getting Started Guide.
